Bristol County Savings Bank Names Salgado Small Business Relationship Manager/CRA

TAUNTON, MA, October 31, 2024 — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB), headquartered in Taunton, Massachusetts, announces the appointment of Sira Salgado to the position of Small Business Relationship Manager/CRA (Community Reinvestment Act), and will be based at its Providence office, located at 5 Exchange Street in the Homewood Suites by Hilton building.  Salgado is responsible for providing consultative services to new and existing small business customers and utilizing deposit and loan products to help build long-term relationships.

With close to ten years in the banking industry, Salgado has held several leadership positions prior to her recent appointment, including Senior Relationship Manager at BankNewport in Providence, Rhode Island. She was recognized with BankNewport’s Volunteer Award in 2023 and serves as a Youth Leader at Iglesia Getsemani church and a volunteer at Casa de Oracion Getsemani Food Distribution Center, both in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Salgado earned her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico in San Juan and resides in Pawtucket.
