Rail & Sail Foliage Tour

It’s a well-known fact that New England has the most magnificent fall foliage in the country! Celebrate autumn with PRIME TIME™ on Friday, October 18th as we embark on a Rail & Sail Foliage Tour in search of the most stunning colors of the season! This year’s journey takes us through the lower Connecticut River Valley.

Step back in time at the historic 1892 Essex Station as we climb aboard a restored 1920’s Pullman dining car for an elegant 3-course meal. Relax and let the rhythm of the rails transport you back to the days when rail travel was king and “dinner in the diner” was a special occasion. Entrée choices are:

  • Braised Beef with carrots, celery and red wine
  • Mushroom Asiago Chicken with fresh herbs
  • Baked Ziti with whipped ricotta and fresh mozzarella
Following our nostalgic train ride and luncheon, the journey continues as we board the Becky Thatcher for a foliage voyage on the Connecticut River. Not only will we witness the vibrant colors of fall, we’ll also pass by historic sites including Gillette Castle, Goodspeed Opera House and the Haddam Swing Bridge.

Pull out your fall sweaters and see why New England is known for its vibrant foliage, drawing leaf-peepers every year!

Trip cost is $159 for Prime Time members ($179 for your guest) and includes:

  • Roundtrip transportation
  • 2.5 hour Scenic Train Ride
  • 3-Course Elegant Lunch on a 1920’s Pullman Dining Car
  • Foliage Voyage onboard the Becky Thatcher riverboat
  • All taxes and gratuities
  • Escorted by Bank personnel!

Convenient departures from Attleboro, Franklin, New Bedford and Taunton (a minimum of 10 people is required for location pick-up).

In the event that it becomes necessary to cancel your reservation we will make every effort to grant a full refund provided notification is received at least 21 days prior to the event. In some situations, certain non-refundable charges may be deducted from the amount of the refund.
